Student Opportunities

PhD Opportunities

PhD students are integral to research design, data analysis, and dissemination of the results of the BIP Lab’s work. Doctoral students, postdoctoral scholars, and research staff meet regularly with professors and co-directors Kalil and Mayer to discuss research design and implementation of the BIP Lab's ongoing projects. Please email Keri Lintz, Associate Director of the Center for Human Potential and Public Policy at keri.lintz@uchicago.edu to express interest in joining our team.

Research Assistant Team

Undergraduate and graduate students interested in working with the BIP Lab can assist in a variety of ways, from supporting staff members on-site at Head Start preschools around Chicago to auditing data received from parents participating in the Lab’s studies. This role provides students with a valuable opportunity to gain experience in field research and data collection. To learn about any opportunities that may be available and to express interest in assisting with the BIP Lab's projects, please email Paula Rusca, Research Coordinator of the Behavioral Insights and Parenting Lab at prusca@uchicago.edu.
